Family Therapy Training

The four training courses offered by AIFC are the:

1. ·Certificate IV in Christian Counselling and Family Therapy – Code 80882ACT
2. ·Diploma of Counselling and Family Therapy (Christian) – Code 80883ACT
3. ·Advanced Diploma of Counselling and Family Therapy (Christian) – Code 80884ACT
4. ·Vocational Graduate Certificate in Counselling and Family Therapy (Christian) – Code 80896ACT

Eight comprehensive training volumes on Christian counselling and family therapy, compiled progressively since 1992 by Dr Bruce and Nellie Litchfield, are supplied to each participant during their first two years of study.

The material in the volumes cover the content of each of the units of competency. These units are listed and defined in the AIFC Course Prospectus and the elements and performance criteria of each unit are defined in the AIFC Handbook for Students. The Handbook is provided to students at the start of the course.

The AIFC Advanced Diploma of Counselling and Family Therapy (Christian) qualification is a prerequisite for enrolment in the Vocational Graduate Certificate.
