Each student will be personally supported, coached and mentored throughout the two-year training program by an allocated tutor during interviews at seminars for personal mentoring. AIFC Centre coordinators are also available to assist in this. In addition to this, students are encouraged to discuss problems during the seminars with teachers, visiting teachers and staff persons.
Between seminars, students are encouraged to discuss issues relating to the course with their tutor, AIFC coordinator, or the AIFC National Office - by personal visit, telephone, fax or email.
In Year Two, students can discuss problems with their supervisor during counselling supervision.
Students are encouraged to openly share with their tutor any problems they may be having with the assignments, issues that may be arising from the teaching, finances, or personal problems relating to the course.
Students who have personal problems not related to the course should seek help through their local church or a professional counsellor. Students are also strongly encouraged to seek personal counselling by a professional counsellor during the course whenever it is considered necessary.
