Enrol with aifc

Thank you for enrolling with aifc.

Step 1: Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the information you need before and during your exciting decision to enrol into one of our courses!

If you are a new student

You are considered to be a new student if you have not been enrolled into any aifc courses in 2017 or 2018

I plan to apply for a VET Student Loan

Important:

To apply for enrolment, keep the following documents ready:

  • Proof of Australian Citizenship – this could be a CERTIFIED copy of an Australian passport, birth certificate or citizenship certificate
  • Academic Documents
    • a copy of your Year 12 certificate or an Australian Certificate IV or above
    • if you cannot provide us with any of these academic documents, and as part of the Government requirements for VET Student Loan students, you will be required to complete the Acer Language, Literacy and Numeracy Core Skills test. Procedures will be provided during the enrolment process. For more information, follow this link:

  • Passport style photo for your Student ID – this can be a selfie, but NOT a group photo, must be face on from the shoulders up, colour, clear, with no obstructions such as hats, inappropriate backgrounds, etc.
  • USI – It is a federal government requirement that every domestic student needs a Unique Student Identifier to obtain their qualification from their RTO when undertaking nationally recognised study and training in Australia. This number gives students access to an online USI account, which keeps track of all their training records in one location. For more information or to apply, visit:

I plan to be fully self-funded

  • Passport style photo for your Student ID – This can be a selfie, but NOT a group photo, must be face on from the shoulders up, colour, clear, with no obstructions such as hats, inappropriate backgrounds, etc.

If you are a continuing student

You are considered a Continuing student if you have completed the 10486NAT Diploma of Counselling or 10487NAT Advanced Diploma of Counselling or CHC51015 Diploma of Counselling with aifc and going straight into the next course of study without a break between courses. (If you are re-enrolling into an aifc course after a break, you are considered to be a Returning student and should complete the form following this link.)

Step 2: To select your course and study mode, choose from the following options

Cut Off Dates for Enrolments

If you wish to apply for a Vet Student Loan to assist with your training costs, the following cut off dates apply.

Seminar Blended Mode – Perth and Sydney applicants: applications to be submitted by January 24th and everything finalised with your application by January 31st.

Seminar Blended Mode  – Melbourne applicants and Online Supported Mode applicants: applications to be submitted by January 31st and everything finalised with your application by February 7th.

Seminar Blended Mode – Brisbane applicants: applications to be submitted by February 7th and everything finalised with your application by February 14th.

If you are wanting to fully self-fund your training and do not need a Vet Student Loan, the following cut off dates apply.  

(Please note that the set census dates will still apply in regards to payment of fees and withdrawals, despite you being a self-funding student.  This may mean that you do not have have a 14 day cooling period prior to census date, due to your later enrolment. Please note, if eligible, you may be able to transfer to a Vet Student Loan from term 2 onward.  Please inquire with our Student Services after commencement to explore this option).
