The information below needs to be read before and followed for the enrolment process. We wish to advise you that you cannot complete this application on your mobile phone, and we recommend using Google Chrome. Please ensure you have all documents ready before proceeding, as you cannot ‘save’ the form and get back to it later once you start.

I wish to apply for a VET Student Loan

To apply for a VET Student Loan, please follow this link and read this very important information:

Have the following documents ready before proceeding:

  • Proof of Australian Citizenship– this could be a CERTIFIED copy of an Australian passport, birth certificate or citizenship certificate.
  • Photo ID– this could be a copy of your driver’s licence or passport.
  • Academic Documents– Copy of an Australian Year 12 certificate or an Australian Certificate IV or above. Important: If you cannot provide us with any of these academic documents, and as per Government regulations for VET Student Loan eligibility, you will be required to complete the ACER Language, Literacy and Numeracy Core Skills test.   • Passport style photo for your Student ID– this can be a selfie, face on from the shoulders up, colour, no obstructions e.g. hats, etc.
  • USI– It is an Australian government requirement that every domestic student needs a Unique Student Identifier to obtain a qualification. The number gives you access to an online USI account, keeping track of all your training records in one location. For more information or to apply, visit: https://www.usi.gov.au/.

Have the following documents ready before proceeding:

  • Proof of citizenship– this could be a CERTIFIED copy of a passport, birth certificate or citizenship certificate. If you are an Australian permanent visa holder, we need evidence of eligibility to study within Australia, e.g. copy of visa conditions.
  • Photo ID– this could be a copy of your driver’s licence or passport.
  • Passport style photo for your Student ID– this can be a selfie, NOT a group photo, face on from the shoulders up, colour, clear, no obstructions such as hats, inappropriate backgrounds, etc.
  • USI– It is an Australian government requirement that every domestic student needs a Unique Student Identifier to obtain a qualification.
