20 Date Ideas For Cultivating Closeness & Connection - aifc

Giving ourselves the time to build a close relationship with our spouse has to take priority over work commitments, socialising with friends, parenting, sports and anything else that tends to take up the majority of our time.

Most experts say couples need to contribute to their relationship for cultivating emotional connectedness by spending intimate moments together and enjoying fun times in each other’s company. Making the effort to spend quality together sends a clear message to our significant other of how much we value the relationship.

The challenge most couples face is finding the time to go out on a date. However, in most cases, if we look for the immediately available time, it won’t be there. Commit to investing in your relationship. Start by planning ahead by adding a date night into your calendar each week, fortnight or month, allowing nothing else to get in the way of your time together.

The bible tells us clearly that we reap what we sow. Thus, what we invest in flourishes and multiplies. Gal 6:7

Start by using these fun date ideas as a guide to planning your adventures.
