1. Experience a Theme Park

Play dates help to build kids relationships with their peers. Ask your child what friends they’d like to invite over. Select a small number to begin with. 7. Hit the Beach
Slap the sunscreen on the kids and yourself, grab your hats and head to the beach. The local swimming pools are affordable and great fun for all ages. If you and your kids have done all of the above, the list below may just be your go to list for new ideas to keep them busy.
- Movie Marathon – Don’t just watch one movie, have a movie marathon with healthy foods and drinks.
- Water Fight – Have a water fight with the kids. Get the sunscreen on and put away anything you don’t want to get wet prior to commencing. Have towels handy and anything else you may need, such as a change of clothes for each one ready, and the mop nearby.
- Lego Building – Lego is always fun for kids. Make it even more fun by having a Lego building competition with prizes for everyone.
- Bug catching – playing in the back yard is always fun for kids. Bug catching is even better. Provide them with containers with lids and make sure they know what not to touch.
- Cupcake Decorating – Hold a cupcake or cake decorating competition.
- Fashion Parade – let the kids have a fashion parade wearing the clothes in your wardrobe
- Craft Day – Have a craft day where the kids can make useful things for decorating their bedrooms.
- Indoor Cubby House – Throw old sheets and blankets over a dining table to create an indoor cubby house.
